Get ready for another tidal wave of cosmic energy this month. We start off with the messenger planet Mercury turning retrograde on October 4th. Once again we are asked to revisit the past to resolve any issues that may be lingering or unsettling. Next, on October 8th we have a powerful Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse in Aries. This lunation will be a total eclipse of the Moon and will conjunct unpredictable Uranus.

This volatile combination is likely to manifest as explosive events and major surprises like the sudden fall of prominent leaders or a flash of inspiration that leads us to greater self-realization. This eclipse has strong potential for helping us to let go of old habits, particularly those related to anger, impatience and feelings of isolation. Potent Pluto’s square to this Full Moon intensifies emotions that underscore the necessity for change, but generous Jupiter’s favorable trine to the Moon offers creativity and playfulness to ease the process.

On October 10th cerebral Mercury retrogrades back into reasonable Libra, helping us to find mental balance in situations where we’ve lost touch with objectivity. However, on October 23rd A tsunami of transformational energy infuses our reality as the illuminating Sun enters powerful Scorpio, followed by vicious Venus also entering Scorpio and last but most significant, a powerful New Moon/Solar eclipse in Scorpio a few hours later. These powerful transits will set the trend for the next six months, bringing in a feeling of “breakthrough” since New Moons do generally herald a new start.
